Difficulty: Easy, but be carefull
Distance to Letterbox: 50 yards

The Old Suspension Bridge box is located on this old brige in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. The new bridge is next to it, but this still remains as a relic from the past, and if really worth seeing! Bridge dates form 1896!! Near Fort Griffin, and shown on map you can get at fort.

Directions:
From Fort Griffin, Go north on Hwy 283, right on FM209, right on FM2850. When pavement runs out, go left on CR179 for about 5 miles to bridge on the right. Park on side of road.

To the Letterbox:
Walk up and onto bridge. Be CAREFUL. Go to far side, near end, to the support column. Bend down and look where column connects to bridge base below wood structure. Box is in nook of metal, under rocks. *** At 1st column we actually found what was left of a Geocache, and left it there.
