MATTHEW 25:35-40

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me. Then the righteous will answer him and say, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you? And the king will say to them in reply, Amen , I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”

This is my first hand carved stamp. I now have an even greater respect for letterboxers who carve such intricate and beautiful designs. I dedicate my first carve to the amazing individual who taught me how to “Do Hard Things”. Thank you for your tireless and dedicated service to others. And thank you for sharing your many wonderful gifts and talents .

Directions:

Located at Webb Mountain Park in Monroe. Take either Rte. 110 in Shelton or Rte. 111 in Monroe to East Village Road. Then turn onto Webb Circle. Enter the park and park your car at the first lot on your right, the lot with the water pump.

Clues:

Enter woods by parking lot, crossing wooden bridge. Take yellow trail. Right BEFORE marker 7 and where the blue trail intersects with yellow, look to your left. See the remains of a stone wall. The box is in the wall, in the area between two pine trees, at the point of a grouping of 6 small Beech trees. Please be careful to rehide well, since it is close to trail. Sorry for the short walk on this one. Continue on the yellow trail and loop around to get back to your car.
