This box was originally placed by La Famiglia Gonzales 9-27-03 and was on a Geocaching site. I adopted this box and have maintained it since 9-26-07.
Off the Rail-to-Trail path along Clinton River.
Avon Road and the Paint Creek Trail.
Your point of departure is at the gate and signs going generally North...
Reeds that once stood tall are now but low to the ground...
A fallen down picnic bench behind a fence...
250 feet, the bridge, fear not your journey has not yet reached its end...
Just past where the bridge begins, drop left between the trees...
A junction not so clear, which to choose? River bank and (those oh so popular) skipping stones or the little used trail marked only with a profusion of leaves? Leaves lead the way...
The river nears… watch your step… as you look east as the old one is near. At its feet, at peace, is the goal you seek...
