“Break into a Gringotts vault?” repeated the goblin, wincing a little as he shifted his position upon the bed. “It is impossible.” …
“Well, the vault we need to get into isn’t empty, and I’m guessing its protection will be pretty powerful,” said Harry. “It belongs to the Lestranges.”

The tiny golden cup, skewered by the handle on the sword’s blade, was flung into the air. The goblin still astride him, Harry dived and caught it, and although he could feel it scalding his flesh he did not relinquish it, even while countless Hufflepuff cups burst from his fist, raining down upon him as the entrance of the vault opened up again...

Go to San Francisco’s Mint Plaza, near Jessie St. Walk along the 66 side, past Blue Bottle and what used to be “The Vault”. Walk to the BMF credit union facing the corner of the Old Mint building*. In the brick wall of 54 Mint Ristorante, down at the ground, there’s a metal box. In a hole below that is the fourth horcrux: Hufflepuff ‘s Cup). Like Gringotts, getting to this horcrux unnoticed will be nearly impossible. Try to be as invisible as possible.
(From 1874 to 1937, the second United States Mint in San Francisco (now known as the "Old Mint") was the most active mint in the United States. In 1877, over fifty-million dollars in coins were produced. By the 1930s, one-third of the nation's gold reserves were stored at the Old Mint.)
