Off the coast of Cabrillo Hwy, near Bonny Doon is Davenport Beach. Park off Davenport Landing Rd and walk down to the shore. Turn left, and continue past the houses, past the stone tunnel (and the Beware of Dog sign), past the rocky sands, and past the softer sands until you reach the beginning of the caves. The rocks here are square and nested against each other, or flat and loose. There is a rock that juts out into the sea that looks like an arched bridge. Up against the cliff wall, right before the rocky caves, under a pile of large stones is the third horcrux: Slytherin’s Locket. (This is tricky to find. If you are climbing over what seems like rocky caves, you’ve gone too far. You should be on the soft sands, just beyond the hard sands, but not yet at the caves).
