Most Texas wines are associated with the Hill Country, but there is one winery located just 10 miles from the Gulf Of Mexico in Santa Fe: Haak Vineyards & Winery. It is the only winery located in Galveston county and has won several awards for its wines. From a small experimental vineyard beside Raymond Haak's house in 1975, the vineyard has grown to 3 acres, and the new winery consists of a little over 11,000 square feet. It is open for tours and tastings from about 11:00 - 5:00 and they also have many events throughout the year involving music and food. So when you come looking for this microbox, be prepared to spend some time enjoying this special place.

Directions:
Santa Fe is located about 25 miles south of Houston and Haak Vineyards & Winery is at 6310 Ave. T. From I45 South, exit onto FM 646 near Dickinson and go south. At Hwy 6 turn right and go about 1 mile, then turn left on Ave. T. After 1.8 miles the winery will be on your right.

Clues:
From the front entrance to the winery walk east across the parking lot toward the Haak Winery brick sign with lamps. Go around to the side facing Ave. T and
from the middle of the word "Haak" on the sign, follow an imaginary line to the bricks bordering the ditch by the road. Look under the stones next to the brick you come to for the microbox. Please re-cover well.
