Begin your hunt at the map located at the trailhead of the trail which encircles Little Pine Lake. From there, you must answer these questions correctly to continue in your pursuit of the letterbox!

How many acres is the surface area of Little Pine Lake?
A.) 60 – turn back and return to the small bridge alongside the road. Stop at the bridge. Do not cross it.
B.) 70 – advance to the nearest picnic table. Stop on the far end of it.
C.) 80 – begin hiking along the trail. Stop at the bridge. Do not cross it.
D.) 90 – From the left side of the map, take to steps straight towards the lake.

What kind of fish is NOT found in Little Pine Lake year round?
A.) Trout – cross the bridge and continue following the trail/road.
B.) Crappie – follow the trail/road past the bridge.
C.) Catfish – check for a clue under the bridge!
D.) Bass – take 17 steps back from the bridge.

How many miles of hiking trails are located in the park?
A.) 1.5 – at the first bench, take 5 steps down toward the lake. Stop at the trio of mossy rocks.
B.) 2.5 – at the second bench, take 10 steps back to the narrow trail on your left (the side of the trail away from the lake). Hike down it. Stand in the V of the best tree you see!
C.) 5 – at the first bench, take 10 steps back to the narrow trail on your left (the side of the trail away from the lake). Hike down it. Stand in the V of the best tree you see!
D.) 10 – at the second bench, take a break then continue trekking those 10 miles of trails. Find the tallest tree you can and climb it. Stand in the V of the lowest branch.
