This letterbox was planted over Thanksgiving weekend. In the spirit of the holiday, this stamp is dedicated to the greatest of Thanksgiving traditions, Home Cookin'!

Make your way to the St Francis if Assisi Church in Litchfield, NH. Driving on the Charles Bancroft Highway (Rt 3a), turn onto Sterling Rd. At the end, pull into the church parking lot. This church also acts as a school, so please do not go during school hours.

Down at the corner of the lot is a basketball hoop. Just beyond that is the kiosk for the Justin Young Trail. This trail was created in honor of Justin Morgan Young, a Scout leader who died in 2004.

Start down the trail. It will turn left and then right at some picnic tables. Then it will intersect with the Merrimack River Rail Trail. Go straight. The trail will turn left again. Where the trail turns right you can see a tree taking a bow toward the river. Stop here and turn around. Take 10 - 15 steps back the way you came. On the right side of the trail, you will see two thin trees of about the same height approximately 6 feet apart. The one on the right is dead. Take 10 steps off the trail, passing the dead tree on your left, to a medium-sized oak tree. At the base of this tree under some bark is where you'll find some good ol' Home Cookin'.

Please be stealthy and rehide the box carefully. Enjoy!
