This stamp was carved and box was placed by a 6-year-old friend! We hope other families and kids have fun finding it.
From the parking lot, start down the trail that begins at the gate on the left. When you get to the "T" intersection, turn right on the fire road and head downhill. Along about halfway down, you will see a side trail leading to a gazebo off in the trees. This is a great spot for a picnic or snack, and offers seasonal views of the river.
After you've enjoyed a little rest, go check for Snakes in the Basement! (Just take the title literally.) Note there are lots of critters about, so we strongly suggest using a stick to help locate the letter box. Lots of muggles about in this spot as well, so please re-hide well when you are finished!
