Once upon a time there was a great and noble king of Marinette. He lived at the tallest point in the county. But he was also a very nervous and greedy king who did not want to share his treasure. His most precious treasures being swords that had the finest jewels inlaid into them.

One day the king decided that he needed to hide his treasure somewhere in his kingdom to keep them safe. And so, he took his faithful dogs and set out on a quest to find the best hiding spot in all his land.
Begin at the “parking lot” and check out the map. Take the path that goes to the left. This will eventually lead you to the highest point in the kingdom (park).

The king walked and walked and found himself at the highest point of his kingdom. What a wonderful place to have a picnic and enjoy his view. Surely, this would be an ideal place to hide his treasures. But as the king looked around and examined the trees, he could not find a place that he thought would not be found accidentally. NO, This would not do.

And so the king continued on his quest. Up the path he trudged on his way. The king knew his domain very well but also knew that he was getting a bit older and more forgetful as time went on. He had to be able to remember how to get back to his treasure once he had hidden it.
So, keep in mind and continue with the theme of going LEFT.

The trail begins to go back down now this great hill. The king wanted to stay to the woods and more covered trails. A fork in the road.
LEFT.

Down, Down, Down the king went. Another fork in the road… LEFT.

Now the king began to travel through the oldest parts of his kingdom. He entered into a valley with high cathedrals of Oaks of majestic size and beauty, accompanied by a wonderous carpet of massive ferns. This area was also “protected” by an army of annoying, flying, biting warriors of the king. (BUG SPRAY is a MUST!!!!)

Down. Down. Down the king continued until he felt he was at the lowest elevation of his kingdom. (The dungeons) Here the trail turns and heads back into the kingdom. The king found a large rock on the south side of the trail and stood on it. He looked around and found a 5 trunked tree (while standing on the rock use your compass and find 320 degrees this will give you the 5-trunked tree.)

Behind the 5-trunked tree was a fallen and rotting tree. Surely, no one would look for his treasure here. So this is where he hid his swords; that no one would find. (except you)

The king, content that his treasure was safe, left this great valley and wandered the rest of the park with his faithful companions. There were paths to walk and trees to climb. What a beautiful kingdom he had.
