Pigeon Creek Park is located on Stanton Street, in West Olive, MI. You will want to park in the main parking lot on the south side of the street. This is a nice trail, with a little bit of sand and some very small hills, that my 4 year old easily rode his bike down.

The Lorax is the one who speaks for the trees,
for trees have no tongues to use words such as these.

If you've not read his tale, some day if you've time,
look up Dr. Seuss. 'Tiz a favorite of mine.

Upon leaving the parking lot the choice that is best
is to start on the trail the most opposite of west.

Watch the right for a bench, then count to the 3rd light.
If you make the best choice then left will be right.

A hand pump for water we're hoping to see,
just across the old parking lot near the apple tree.

(This water pump works! If you want to get wet
you may have to work hard and break out in a sweat).

From here check the tree at 120 degrees.
Not the Lorax, just evidence of adversities.

Continue down this path, then the less traveled route.
Eating and/or camping is today, not why we're out.

Notice both the arrows as another choice to make.
Both of them point to paths we do not wish to take.

You'll pass a few posts and a bench on the left
as you wander this trail and hope there's been no theft.

I wonder what happened to all of these trees -
Was it the Once-ler who used them for thneeds?

As you pass the tree graveyard, just at the end,
far to the right is a large 2 trunked friend

about 20 steps in. Now sight 270 degrees.
A tree who has passed and will no longer bear leaves.

At the base of this tree and under some bark,
You will find where the Lorax resides at this park.

To get back to your car you can just turn around.
Or continue on forward and a map can be found.
