Several years ago, my family started going out to Jordan's Plant Farm on Thanksgiving after dinner. We have all had a blast and I just wanted to share this wonderful experience with others. They have a wonderful gift shop, which is really decked out during the holiday season. The gift shop is divided into sections that resemble an old-time hotel with a lobby, saloon, barbershop, and general store. For more information, check out their web site at http://www.jordansplantfarm.com
Due to how busy the place can get, I chose to place the letterbox down the road at the Goodsprings Duncan Cemetery. The address for Jordan's Plant Farm is 7523 Hw 42 South in Henderson. If you look on the map it is located close to Price. From Hwy 79 west of Henderson, take Hwy 42 north. Jordan's Plant Farm is about 3 miles from Hwy 79. Between Hwy 79 and Jordan's is the Goodsprings Duncan Cemetery. The green sign on Hwy 42 says Duncan Cemetery, but the archway into the cemetery says Goodsprings Duncan Cemetery. Drive through the main archway and take your first left. Look for the only 2 bushes on your right. There will be bench next to one of them. Walk to the bench and the letterbox is in the middle of the bush hanging in a bag.
