Brooksvale park is in Hamden ct. After entering the park you will notice a big red barn on the right. After parking, head up the drive past the barn to the trail head. Go past the map board and on to the main trail. Go left at the fork. The trail travels up hill and passes several camp buildings off in the woods. Pass a small trail on the left and continue to the next fork. Go right and continue up a low hill. At the top look to your left for the two "old men of the forest." Across the trail on the right will be a stone wall. Follow the wall to the tree with a hump. Look to the base to find the box of 604.
