I just found this park a couple of weeks ago and thought what a great place to hide a letterbox. There is a fishing lake, playground and a small walking trail here.
There are several Manslick Roads in Lou. You need to find the one that runs off of Berry Blvd. If you are coming this way turn left off of Berry Blvd onto Manslick Rd. Go a few blocks and turn left again on March Blvd. Follow the sign to Watterson Lake Park and turn right onto Wheatmore Rd. The park is at the end of this road. After parking you will see the lake on your left and walking track on your right. Head toward the walking track, no time for fishing now. You can go either way on the trail because what you are looking for is straight ahead of you. See that fenced in ramp straight ahead go there and look above 1987 for your birthday surprise.
Please be sure to push the box way back after stamping. I am not sure how busy this park is.
