Timothy has successfully battled through eighth grade and has now graduated to high school. to celebrate his victory, he designed this series of five boxes, based on the popular video game, HALO 3, where epic battles are fought on artificial worlds shaped like rings. The series highlights five local high school, each of which has a running track.
NO BOXES HAVE BEEN HIDDEN ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.
CLUES:
Woodland Regional High School is located on a beautiful campus on Rimmon Road. The views of the Valley from the athletic fields is worth the visit. Its mascot is Harry the Hawk.
Take Route 8N to Exit 23. Left at the light at the end of the exit, and bearing right over the bridge takes you on to Pines Bridge Road. The school sign is located on the left, not more than 1/4 mile down the road.
However, you need to take the first RIGHT AFTER YOU CROSS THE BRIDGE. This is Old Pines Bridge Road. At the bottom of the hill, you will arrive at viaduct under the railroad tracks and the entrance to Toby's Pond Boat Launch and Park. Drive under the tracks, take a right, and drive until you come to where the slope of large stones begins on your left. Park here and continue walking along the pond until the road forks. You can walk the "Trail" to the left. But you might miss the osprey nest in the telephone pole along the railroad tracks. I recommend that you take the right fork and go through the gate to the tracks. THIS IS AN ACTIVE RAILROAD LINE, ALTHOUGH INFREQUENT. STAY ATTENTIVE TO TRAINS!
Walk along the tracks until you pass the osprey nest made of large branches in one of the telephone poles. They are magnificent birds, and worth respecting. Just past the pole with the nest, you will see a heap of rust-colored boulders. Cross the tracks, and investigate the boulders until you find the drilled blasting holes. The one to the left is a double. To the left of this hole is a crack filled with stones. Under the top flat stone you will find the HALO 3 - epsilon BOX. PLEASE replace the stones so that they completely conceal the box.
