Kokmo's Shaved Ice, is a great place and less than five minutes away from I-88! They have at least fifty different shaved ice flavor combinations and you can make your own. They recently added grilled food to the menu as well. Kokmo's is a wonderful place to stop by for cool treats on a hot summer day. A small is only $1.50 and trust me you won't need anymore than that!
Kokmo's was started by high school students as a school project and has blossomed into a full fledged business. The staff is excellent. This is definitely a box to take the whole family to! Their hours can be found on their facebook page. This is a seasonal establishment and they are open late March to late Fall.
The Clues
This is a really easy find! Park your car in the small lot. Walk around the backside of Kokomo's (as it draws less attention) to the other side of the building. This hide-a-key box is on the bottom of a small metal box attached to the utility pole. There is no physical log book for this box. Be stealth this place can become VERY busy at times and be mindful of the windows on the backside, the owners do not know about it.
