Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Microbox: 1/4 mile oneway

Status of Microbox: Alive and Well on 5/9/04

The "Hiker's Maze" microbox is located in Rob and Bessie Welder Park. This park offers picnicking, playgrounds, hiking, and much more. Also multiple letterboxes.

Directions:
From Sinton, go north on Hwy 181 for about 1 mile and turn in on the right. Go right at first and second road junctions, to end of parking area and park.

To the Microbox:
Take the Hike/Bike trail to the loop junction, and take right path. You may want to find Wanda's first 2 boxes first, then from her second continue along the path to where it turn left (sign on right pointing out trail). Make the bend heading east. Continue on until you reach a water faucett on the left (about 75 yards). Find the tree to the left of the faucett. The micro is wedged in the bark of this tree, about knee high, on the trail side of the tree with extra bark hiding.

AS you are stamping the maze, be sure you also use your pen to draw the outline of the stamp to form the maze border. Now you can help the hiker find his tent through the maze. Be sure you re-hide the box with covering bark so it can not be seen.
