The Mooers Riverside Cemetery is east of Mooers and is visible from Rt. 11 but access is from Lavalley Rd. If you are traveling eastbound on Rt. 11 and you see the cemetery on the right or get to the sign for Champlain and Rouses Pt., you missed the turn onto Lavalley and will need to to go back.
Enter the cemetery through the main gate at Park Ln. (a dead end). Keep right on the road that parallels Lavalley till you come to a big tree by Wilson with a smaller tree on the left. (A branch was broken on the big tree – hopefully they haven’t cut down the whole thing.) Look in the cleft of the remaining two sisters, tucked in to the left size and covered with bark. Cover well when you’re done.
