Replaced 8/1/15. Go to Letchworth State Park. Follow the road toward Cabin Area B/ Lower Falls. Go past the cabin area into large parking lot. Follow Trail #1 past the Lower Falls (don't go down the stairs) toward Inspiration Point. This is a long and upward trek. Near the top, when the land levels off, you will come upon a chain link fence on your left. Count the fenceposts to the 16th post, and turn right into the woods. Go straight approximately 52 paces, and you will encounter another path, but cross it and walk northwest. You will come to an informational plaque about white oak and white pine. Straight ahead on the path about 20 paces is a large old black stump. Look in the crevices of the stump for a green plastic letterbox. Have fun! Claire & Emma
