Planted this letterbox near the cliff. You can access the cliff via the Arethusa Falls Trail or the Frankenstein Cliff Trail. Each trail head is in the parking area on Arethusa Falls Road off Route 302 about 10 miles north of Attitash mountain.

It is a tougher hike to the cliff, especially with small children. You can get to the cliff after going to Arethusa Falls or by going along the Frankenstein Cliff trail. The Arethusa Falls trail is easier, but longer. It is about a 3 mile hike from the Arethusa Falls trail and 1.5 miles from the Frankenstein Cliff trail. The cliff is about 1200 feet above your starting elevation, so be prepared for a climb.

If you approach the cliff from the Arethusa Falls side, you are looking for the first marked tree after the cliff. If you are approaching the cliff from the Frankenstein Cliff, you are looking for the last marked tree before the cliff. Walk due north (A hiker told me my reading of 80 degrees was incorrect, hopefully 0 degrees is correct). You should be walking away from the cliff and off the trail. About 25 paces in, there should be a birch tree with exposed roots where you will find the Frankenstein stamp. Please rehide carefully and be discreet. The cliff brings many people to it and they rest at the cliff.
