Easy walk
update 5/10/214 changes have been made to the area, the parking lots are no longer named and trees have grown
Wisconsin Rapids Area has two fun festivals Cranberry Bloom Festival is one. The area is the largest inland producing cranberry region in the world producing more than 60% of the nations cranberries.
This park is located south east of Wisconsin Rapids. I took County W out of town to Wazeecha Avenue, then North Park Road.
From Betty head towards another parking lot away from where you were. Or park at bathroom 417. Walk pass the parking lots pass the bench, pass the swing set and blue water hand pump. Look for a shape in the trail that has more angles than a cranberry. One trail heads for the road and the other toward the water. Stand at the first point you came to and look left (west). Notice a row of larger trees, three oak- white pine and red pine; there are smaller trees around them. The guy is hiding at the base around the other side by the third tree (an oak).
