In the hamlet of Shushan, on the Battenkill, there is a unique historical museum consisting of a relocated one-room schoolhouse and a covered bridge.
This is the perfect family destination as the museum has hands-on displays and only 1/4 mile away is a small art museum, The Georgi. Each are on the beautiful Battenkill.
Bring bathing suits and a picnic.
ADMISSION FREE - Donations Gratefully Accepted

CLUE: Enter the covered bridge and don't forget to sign the guest book. Take your time examining the contents of the museum, a collection
from local barns and attics. When you discover Harriet W. Hale, M.D. you will be hot on the letterbox trail. Take a sneaky look inside something of Dr. Hale's
to find it.
