The 4 Okies are four krazy women who share a love of the outdoors! Three of us are cousins who have been coming out to the Topside Cabin west of South Fork for over 30 years. In the summer of 2011, we brought our friend out to see this beautiful place. It was the summer that we also began to letterbox. On our way back to Oklahoma from our Colorado trip, we decided to place a letterbox in the panhandle of Oklahoma since there currently are none.

The panhandle consists of 3 large counties with many very small towns. One of the smallest is Gate, Oklahoma in Beaver County on Highway 64. Gate is the home of the Gateway to the Panhandle Museum. This tiny town is known for its colorful murals depicting western scenes and painted on the old brick buildings. Be sure and check out the .2 square miles of this town while searching for our letterbox. The stagecoach is on the move. Find it and you will find the The 4 Okies Letterbox. Hint: Look for the lead horse.

Please note: A stamp pad is not included in this letterbox.
