Our favorite park is Livingston Park in Manchester NH. It has a shaded playground, plenty of picnic areas and a great walking trail around Dorrs Pond. I hope you enjoy the park as much as we do.
Please bring your own ink pad or markers and pen.
The entrance to Livingston Park is at the intersection of Red Coat Lane and Hooksett Road on the Daniel Webster Highway North. Park in the lot to your right, the Dorrs Pond Nature Trail lot.
Clues:
Facing the Dorrs Pond House follow the sidewalk to your right (make sure the pond is to your left). After you enter the gravel section of the trail you’ll walk past a nice picnic area on your left. (A great place for a picnic before you search!) Cross over the first and second bridge and continue down the main path. Cross the third (walking) bridge, watch out for the tree growing through the bridge! After this bridge you’ll see a bench on the left – stop for a few moments, take a rest and enjoy the view! Continue down the path and over a fourth bridge. You’ll then walk past 4 large rocks to your right, 2 are flat top. No, it’s not here, keep walking! Next you’ll come to a split in the path, take the path to your left. Cross the fifth and final (walking) bridge in these clues. At the end of this bridge before the next bridge follow the path up the hill to your right and stay to the righ. Walk the path to the big rock on the left. From this point standing with the path to your back and the big rock beside you to your right take about 18 steps into the woods to the next big rock straight ahead, you’ll find our box hiding behind it.
I hope you have fun finding it! We had a lot of fun hiding it.
