Clues for Hudson Springs Park

Enter the park off of Stow Rd. Drive past the booth to the bathrooms on your left and park in that lot. Take the path that goes between the playground and lake. Continue on past Kathy Wolking Flower Bed. When you come to the Janet Cheeseman Flower Bed, turn left. Continue until you find a fork in the path and take the path to the right. Walk about 3 min. and look for a group of 4 trees on your left that’s coming onto the path (path will zag to the left and go around them). It looks like one of the trees has a knuckle sticking out at the base. That knuckle points east. Turn your body in the direction it is pointing. You will need to take about 30 steps in this direction. There are some small fallen trees you will have to step over. You should now be at the base of a fallen tree. Turn your body about 45 degrees to the left and take 27 steps. Now you should see a large tree that is split down the middle. In the bottom of this crack you should find what you are looking for.

This is a wonderful park with LOTS to do: Disc Golf, playground, bocce ball courts, picnic tables, fishing ($10 if not Hudson resident), boat launch for kayaks and fishing boats, bike/walking trails.
