To the Birds! Enjoy some bird watching in this lovely area as you begin your hunt for the Wild Bird Refuge Letterbox!
Description: 157 acres. Year-round populations of a wide array of species, draws a steady stream of birdwatchers and wildlife photographers. Spring and fall migration periods see swells in the populations of both. Waterfowl hunting annually.It is located in the Lake Helena Wildlife Management Area. Once you have located this lovely little gem, park your car, because it is walking only:) Notice the gated off road facing Southeast...walk through the gate, and look to your right you'll see a wooden fence...start counting the fence posts...1-2-3-4 and look behind the 4th fence post under a small bush, and some debris...you'll find the box!
