Location: A large recreation area southeast of Milford.
Terrain: Level dirt/grass trail through woods.
Time/Distance: 20-30 minutes.
This box was planted during the 2011 Great Lakes Gathering to commemorate Shorty's graduation, which was celebrated at the event.

Shorty is jumping from one stage of life to another and to mark his high school graduation we created something that incorporates two of his favorite activities. To join us in congratulating him, follow these clues:
Travel toward the canoe rental area and pull off into the large gravel lot on the right. Find something to connect you to a “Natural Heaven” (a perfect carve? A perfect flip?). Continue on to an immediate decision. The right way is not always right.
Travel along for several minutes, winding along like a carving knife or perhaps like a gymnast tumbling and flipping. Eventually you will meet a huge pine with sawn off lower limbs. A “shorty” distance ahead you will meet his similarly amputated brother. To his right is a tree symbolizing a triple backflip. Shorty is poised within, ready to make his jump. After making his acquaintance, please replace him carefully so he can continue to perform for future audiences.
You can continue the long loop around, or retrace your steps.
