***Note: Make sure to allow time for little ones to play on the playground. ***

There once were 5 little siblings playing on the Mill Pond Park Playground (565 W Bennett St Saline, MI) when they realized that their youngest little brother was lost. They all agreed that they should go off and look for him and the best place to start was at the Emergency Pole near the playground. However he wasn't there and they weren't ready to raise an alarm yet so they discussed which way to. The girl in the group decided that it would be best to head towards the woods...specifically the evergreen out from the woods east south-east of their current position, so they skipped their way to the tree. Unfortunately the little lost brother was not there, but the youngest boy in the group saw a painted rock to the south that looked cool to him and he figured it would look cool to his little brother so off they raced. As they got there they marched around the rock seven times just to be sure they didn't miss him.
From there the oldest, the practical one, said they better double check that he hadn't drowned so they headed to the pond and went West along the bank. Luckily they didn't find him there, but as they walked the bank they notice a huge fallen log that looked great for a balance beam (that of course they all had to try).
Now you know bridges are always fun places to play and hide so the 4 of them scrambled across the big grey bridge, yet still to no avail. But across the parking lot turn around they see another bridge that opens into the clearing… the Bowley Bridge. The Bowley Bridge is named after the Mayor of Saline's sister city Brecon, Wales. It’s a very important symbol of Mr. Bowley’s reaching out to the city of Saline. Mr. Bowley’s efforts resulted in both cities having great relations.
They decide to walk backwards across the bridge, just to be sure their lost little brother is not behind them. In the clearing they see multiple paths, but which one to pick? The second oldest decides to stand with his back to the tree in the middle of the clearing and take a look. As he points to the bridge with his left hand he sweeps his right open into the 3 o'clock position. Since that seems like a good time of day that is trail they pick. A few steps in and they come into a fork in the road. 4 choices and 4 kids, inevitably they each want a separate trail, but the oldest takes charge and decides they will take a systematic approach and start on the right fork and work their way around if they don't find him. So in they go; around a few bends and find what they are looking for in a large outcropping of rocks.

Please make sure to rehide this box well so no Muggles will see it.
