After the brutal winter of 2010-2011, TrailMix and Yankeesfan only want to think about summer!
These two letterboxes are about a favorite summer activity-going to the beach! These are our first
Letterboxes and we are very excited about them! Enjoy and smile!

Directions:

These boxes are in Wolfe Park which is located on Cutler’s Farm Road in Monroe. Park in the overflow/non-sticker parking lot.

Clues:

Box 1: From the parking lot, head for the path that runs between the basketball court on your right
and the pavilion on your left. Head down the path into the woods. Follow the path all the way until you
come to the lake. Once you reach the lake, go left. Walk along the path, with the lake to your right,
until you come to a bench on your right. Look to the left to see an old stone wall. Step over the berm
and walk down by the stone wall. Pass by 2 two-sister trees. The box is in the stone wall by a skinny,
tiny maple tree which is behind the wall. Please be sure to rehide the box as you found it.

Box 2: Continue to walk all around the lake, over the bridge, through the parking lot, past the concession stand on your left and beach on your right. Walk back over a smaller bridge and meet
The path that you started on. Take a left back up this path, as if you are returning the way you came.
Continue walking until another path veers off to your left. There is a bridge down this path. About
Half-way down this path, before the bridge, there is a small two-sister tree on your left. Beyond this tree are about 4 large boulders. Box 2 is hidden in a crevice of the boulder with the small tree growing
out of it. It has a flat stone on top. Please re-hide it the way you found it. Go back to the path and head with the bridge and brook behind you. Go left on the main path to get back to the park.
