These 2 boxes take about an 1-1&1/2 hrs to do! I planted these boxes here because they are 2 of our favorite hiking places around Newfound Lake. From Rt.3a north, take a right onto North Shore Rd. From the south, take a left. Travel 1 mile and Paradise Point is on the left. There is a sign at the roadside. The driveway goes downhill to a parking lot. Park and walk up the main trail to the lodge porch. Find the trail map made of wood. Take the trail behind the map and you want the first Elwell trail you come to. This is a left! Continue on this trail until you reach the view of the lake. There is a bench directly in front of you. Have a seat and notice a barkless tree on the left of you on the ground. The Life is Rosey box is under the end closest to the water. A small log hides it from view. This next box, Bear Mnt., went missing as of May,28th,2012 but is replaced by Life is good! To get to Bear Mnt,box, take a left out of the driveway. Continue on North shore rd until you come to the center of Hebron, follow around and look for West shore Rd. Continue on West shore Rd/ for about 1-2 miles, I could be off a bit so be carefull not to go by! Look for a very small sign on the right,it sits on a pole at trailhead. Parking for this trail is on the left shoulder before the trailhead. If you come to Wellington State park on the left, you went too far! Please sign in at the mailbox! Follow the trail up the hill,in about 10-15 minutes you come to a small stream. With your back to the stream, looking from where you came, notice a med size rock on your left! This rock has a flat top and is about 6-8 ft. away from you! This rock is covered by moss also. The box is hiding under the front-right corner and hidden by a rock! Have fun and please let me know of any problems! Thank you!
