Tucson Parks and Recreation has been expanding the Pantano River Walk for the outdoor enthusiast. The 2011 expansion included the section from 22nd Street south to Golf Links Rd. Make your way to the parking area just south of 22nd. Walk along the path, through the gardens of the sun, summer solstice, winter solstice, flute players and masks until you reach the Garden of the Families. Walk until you are aligned with the equestrian entrance to the wash, directly across from a forked path. One fork is paved, the other is red gravel. Look east toward the road and you will see two medium size acacia trees. The one closest to the road has a SPOR under it. The box is beneath.
