I have attended, graduated and taught at various colleges and universities in my career. To commemorate them, I have decided to make a letterbox for each of the schools. If a college has more than one campus, each campus will get a letterbox (provided I was at that campus for some classes). There are 10 schools/campuses in this series, with one of them being a mystery university.

I had taught for quite a few years at Oakland Community College of Auburn Hills (OCC-AH) as one of the part-time wonders known as Adjunct Faculty. I also took classes here, so I experienced OCC both as an instructor and as a student. I was hoping that they would hire me as a full-time instructor, but that never happened. I imagine they wouldn’t mind if I was a full-time student forever, but that wasn’t going to happen either.

Enter the OCC-AH campus from Featherstone Road and park in Lot 10. Walk toward the campus. You will pass a photosynthetic building on your right. Go under a white overpass that connects 2 buildings, A and T. You will enter a courtyard. Ahead of you, you will see Building C, where I used to teach, and Building B, which had academic offices. Note the name on Building C, right next to Building B. From the courtyard, look east for a cute little structure. I imagine it could be used for courting, weddings, picture-taking, and keeping you from getting wet when it rains. Go to that structure. Remember the last name on Bldg C? From that structure, head in the direction of the last name on Bldg C. Keep going until you see on your right (southeast) a sign of a guy walking. Go to that sign. You will come to a long rock wall on your right. When you get to the sign, turn around and about 8 stumbling steps away will be a rock with blue paint on it. Right next (west) to that blue rock is a SPOR. The letterbox is in there.
