This is literally a 10th of a mile easy flat less than 10 min each way walk! Bring your own ink pad!!

This letterbox is our 1st letterbox!! We plan on adding a few more box's soon in the area so keep an eye out.

So who is Scratchy? Its our Turtle!! Well it's really Aubry's little pet - but we all love her the same! Once when Aubry was little she was told to wash her hands off every time she played with Scratchy, a few days later Aubry had a friend over and her mom went up to bring them snacks, low and behold Aubry figured out a way to bypass washing her hands every time she played with Scratchy!! She had the hand soap......and she was washing Scratchy off with it!!!!! LOLOLOL hahahahaha She said if Scratchy was clean she wouldn't have to wash her hands off all the time – Brilliant. This ones dedicated to you Scratchy, for being the cleanest little turtle in town!

So where do we find Scratchy Superstar?? This stamp is located on Powell Rd in Holland Patent Ny, you start by parking at the small grassy parking area at a small bridge (closest to and visible from Hoffman Rd – if you go to Hinman rd you're going the wrong way) This is the Nine Mile Feeder Canal. When you park you will also notice a yellow gate (which is used to keep motorized vehicles out but walking, fishing, and picnicking are just fine) and an information keyosk. At the end of this walk is a picnic table to relax at and enjoy the sounds of nature and the water flowing down a hundred feet to the stream below.

Ok, so lets begin by going around the gate and walking down the path. About 40 paces in on the right you'll see a big moss covered tree - see it? Great you're headed in the right direction! Keep going! Soon you will hear the sounds of the water flowing faster! And on the left you'll see an old Iron foot bridge. Don't play around near that tho!! Now if you look directly across from that Iron bridge you'll see 2 “twin sister” trees. Behind that tree about 5 feet ,you'll see a Big Bare Tree, at the base of that tree on the left side under some brush you will find your prize!! Now take it over to the picnic table and have a great day!!!!
