Take exit 240 (Bridgewater exit). Follow State Route 257 into Bridgewater for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto College View Drive (this street is just before two large prominent brick pillars which mark the entrance to Bridgewater College campus). Go one block and turn left onto East College Street. Follow East College Street until it ends at the entrance sign to Sandy Bottom Park. Turn left and continue past the town’s maintenance shop into the parking area.

Adults

1. When you arrive at the golf course, which was founded in 1994, head to hole #1.
2. Follow the river upstream, which runs for about 50 miles, but watch for low flying aircraft.
3. Stop at the 3rd picnic table.
4. Did you know?? The city of Bridgewater has approximately 5,420 people.
5. To complete your game, go to the last green. (Hole #9)
6. If you have a good round you may not need it, however if you don’t do very well you may need to hit the putting green.
7. The most important thing to a golf course is its grass. It needs WATER. That is the key to success.

Kids

1. Once you arrive at the golf course stop and get a drink of water.
2. Look both ways before crossing the street and go toward the putting green.
3. Stop and listening for airplanes flying over the golf course going in and out.
4. From the informational box skip to the gazebo.
5. Tippy toe to the river and look for wild animals; if you look closely you might see some large and small mouth bass, sunfish, catfish, carp, and suckers.
6. Run to the third green.
7. Facing the ninth green turn to three o’clock.
8. Walk toward the road and between the two conifers, under the lid lies the surprise.
