USA Rebels Home Turf LbNA #57518

This is our first letterbox! We created it and hit it in honor of my daughters competition soccer team. My daughter's team is named the USA REBELS and their home turf is at Bluffdale Park.

The park is located at 14400 South 2200 West in Bluffdale. As you enter the park off of 14400 South you will see parking spaces to your right and to your left. You will want to park to the right near the far end of the parking lot. You need to find the closest "wishing well" which is also a drinking fountain. From the drinking fountain face South West and find the wooden Arbor across the soccer field. Walk to the wooden Arbor. As you walk across the soccer field to get to the Arbor know that you are walking on the home turf of the USA Rebels. Yeah! Once you reach the wooden Arbor look for the small waterfall and pond. (it is to your east) Follow the path up to the waterfall and pond. Continue heading east until you come to a Tall Rock Fountain. (there may or may not be water streaming down it, it depends on the time of year). Near the rock fountain you will see 2 stone benches by each other on your left. Follow the rock path that goes between the two benches and head west. Continue on the rock path until you get to a fork in the path. Take the path to the right and go 9 steps (the "nine" steps is in honor of my daughter's soccer # which is #9) If you look down and to your right you will see a little sign that reads "Black Knight Butterfly Bush". While standing next to the sign make sure you are facing the flagpole that is closest to you.(it is west and down by the pond and waterfall) Look down and 2 rocks in front of you is a square shaped rock on the rock path. From the square rock count 4 rocks away at a 60 degree angle to your left. Under that rock you will find the letterbox. Make sure you stamp both stamps as shown on the front of our logbook.(one stamp is hand carved and the other was purchased)
