This is a limited-time-series from Sunday, April 17th to Sunday, May 1st. There is only one, very small logbook that requires a "thumbprint" & it's in the last box. (The best way to open these boxes is to pinch the "top" & "bottom" between your thumbs & forefingers.)
Start at the Ridge Line Trail Head all the way down Fox Hollow Road, on the same side as the Cascade Raptor Center.
BOX #1: Start up the trail. (The trilliums are in bloom!)Notice some strange-shaped trees, leaning on the right. Then...a large, mossy log laying on the right. On the left side of the log, below the first upright limb & inside a detatched "knot" that's covered with moss is "Easter Egg Hunt".
BOX#2: Continue on the trail. Come to a boardwalk, but cross not. Look just to the left, 4 boards in, near hand-rail support, under chunk of mossy bark for "Easter Egg".
BOX #3: Now cross the 2 boardwalks & keep walking. (It's so beautiful here! It's the season of rebirth!) Soon, you'll see some trail-rails, then the trail goes left. There is a very large fir tree on the left. At the base, on the East side, in a cubby-hole, covered with lichen & moss, you'll find "Easter Ducky".
BOX#4: Follow the trail & see more trail-rails. The trail heads down now. Count 28 steps from the point where the trail heads down...stop! To your right should be a tree with a stump behind it. Look to the left side at the base of the tree. Under lichen & chunks of bark will be "Easter Egg Maze". (You may want to make more than one stamping of this one in your logbook ;-)
BOX#5: Walking onward...at the bottom starts more trail-rails on each side. The trail curves right, then curves left, then right again. Then it heads up. On your right is a large two-treed "V". Under the right-side base is "Easter Ham Dinner". Please stamp-in here & rehide well. HAPPY EASTER!!!
