The letterboxes are in Shaupeneak Ridge Park in Ulster Park, New York. Take Old Post Road off of Rt. 9W. Go 2 miles to upper parking lot on Poppletown Road (on a sharp turn.) Parking lot on left. Trails are around Louisa Pond. Pick up a trail map at the kiosk.
Follow the blue trail at the end of the parking area past benches along the pond. At the juncture of the yellow trail continue on blue trail a very short distance to a small tree with 2 blue markers on left side of trail. Just behind the small tree is a rock outcropping. Find where it forms a U curve. Look in a crevice on a large rock to find HSSSSSSSSS! Hide him well.
Continue on blue trail to the other side of the pond. At the top of stone stairs go left on the orange trail. Enjoy the trail. Watch for beautiful white tails as you crest hills. Continue on going over a large downed birch tree. Further along you’ll see posted property on the left. As you begin to climb a hill look for a large rock outcropping on your left. Continue on the trail stopping at the stump about half way up the hill on the right side of the trail. Look to your left past a large rock pile. You’ll spot a 3 sister stump in which you will find TROPHY. Hide him well. Go back and continue on the orange trail. Make a left when you hit the blue trail. Go over the boardwalk bridge. Stay on the blue trail. Go past two 3 sister trees on the left. Stop at the stone wall. Look right through two trees and spot a decayed stump on its side. Here you’ll find SALLY. Hide her well. Continue back to parking lot on the blue trail.
