Level of Difficulty: 700 ft., gradual climb
Distance: .4 (.8 round-trip) to the letterbox,
.75 (1.5 miles round trip) to the top – TOTALLY
WORTH IT!

Crazy Annie is planted at Vroman’s Nose in Middleburgh, NY.

**You will need your own ink. Black works best.

*** This is a child friendly trail. My 3 year old made it to the top and back without any issues.

Direction:
From Schoharie, take Route 30 into Middleburgh. At the light, take a right. Go about a mile and turn right on Mill Valley Road. The Vroman’s Nose parking area is on your left in about a mile.

Clue:

After parking, head up the hill to the trail on the right. This is the green trail and will soon take a sharp left (90 degree angle). You will soon come to a stony area in the trail that extends across the trail. There will also be a mossy boulder on the left side of the trail at this point. From here, go 25 paces further up the trail to a skinny pine tree with green trail paint on it. Turn left and go 36 paces into the woods to a big pine tree with a huge boulder next to it. Go behind the pine tree to the back corner of the boulder. At the base of that corner, in a crevice, covered with sticks and other debris is Crazy Annie. ENJOY!

NOTE: Please do NOT place any rocks over the LB. I am afraid it would crack in very cold weather. THANK YOU!!

Stay on the green trail to the top. You are almost there and will not regret it!!
