Preboxed Memorial: Elephant in the Room

Although I joined the community after the passing of a well-known member, I wanted to participate in this “planting” event. Death is often difficult to talk about. One might call it the “elephant in the room”. But, this community is celebrating the memories of Preboxed with an event. As you search for this box, remember the good memories with your Loved & Lost friends and families.

Clues: Start on the trail by the Duck Pond that takes you on the metal bridge over 691. If you get to this bridge before finding the box, you’ve gone way too far. While walking on this path, you will see an old guard rail on your left. After the guard rail on your left, you will eventually see a set of three posts on your left (no wire on them anymore). You’ll know it’s the correct three posts because there will be three matching posts on the right hand side of the trail. From this spot, take 70 steps forward. On your left, you’ll see two boulders and a fallen tree. After these, one of the trees has a home in its trunk. The elephant WAS hiding in his room. Muggles probably found him and carried him away. I recarved him and added a treat for the elephant. FROM THE BACK OF THIS TREE, TAKE 12 STEPS WEST TOWARD ANOTHER TREE. SINCE THERE WERE NO GOOD HIDING SPOTS AROUND THIS TREE, YOU CAN FIND THE BOX 6 MORE STEPS IN A NW DIRECTION UNDER A SKINNY FALLEN BRANCH AND A FEW ROCKS. Rehide with care and make sure it can't be seen from any direction. Thank you.
