The "Is it Safe Yet" letterbox is located at Ft Parker S.P. This park offers great outdoor activities, and was the host site for TALE 8.
Directions:
From Mexia, go south on Hwy 14 to park entry on right. Turn in and pay fee at booth. Get map. Drive to farthest point in the park to the Navasota river. Park here by Blue Trail marker.
To the Letterbox:
From trail marker, hike the trail to a junction (trail coming from group picnic area). Go right for 12 steps on trail. Now go left off trail for 18 steps to Huge Tree. Box is on back side under wood.
