Difficulty: Easy
Distance: NONE
Part of the "Wineries of Texas" Series.
Saddlehorn Winery is one of the newest in Texas. The ranch setting is nice, and the facility is great. They are now up to 6 wines available for tasting, and for such a new winery they aren't bad! Liked the Barn Red the best.
Directions:
From Hwy 290 between Brenham and Burton, turn north on FM 1948. Go about 1 mile and turn in on right at sign, then go to the barn down the dirt road.
To the Letterbox:
Could not find a great place to hide, so this may be a challenge. I would go in and taste first. When you exit the front door, go left on the porch to sitting chairs and table. Find the large boot on the ground used as an ashtray. Tilt the boot to the side and find flat letterbox under the toe area.
