This letterbox is in Goliad State Park, on the same Nature Trail as Silver Eagle's Mexico Flag letterbox and the Twin Dragonfly micro box. After touring the fascinating Mission, museum and grounds, walk northwest across the mission compound to the opening in the stone wall leading to the nature trail. Follow the loop trail, noticing all the wildflowers, butterflies, HUGE strikingly marked grasshoppers, and hearing all the songbirds, until you get to the old kiln and rock quarry area on the other side of the river.
On the far side of the river from where you came onto the nature trail, look underneath the seventh board on the west side of the bridge. You will have to move some sticks and possibly a small loose board. Please replace carefully when done.
