Snakes…why’d it have to be snakes?
Park on Geigertown Road in the lot by Six Penny Creek. Walk up the road, crossing the creek, and enter the park via the Horse-Shoe Trail.
Beware while walking, as horses tend to not like snakes a lot.
Follow the path down the hill. You will have to keep an eye out for water snakes as you cross Six Penny Creek. Start up the hill and take the first trail on the left (Six Penny Trail). I wonder how many snakes you could buy with Six Pennys?
Once you are on Six Penny Trail you want to count off 50 snakes until you come to the tree on the left that looks like two snakes pointing up from the trunk. Stand with you back to the tree and take a compass reading of 200 degrees. You will see a snaky looking tree across the trail on that heading. Watch for snakes as you find the snake….I mean the BOX hidden under the tree where it bends over the ground.
Hope you enjoy the snake hunt!
