The Veasy makes a creaking noise;
It has no dignity or poise.
Reservoir #6 on route 44 in West Hartford. This is about four miles round trip. Park in the first lot as you enter.
Head north through two gates and follow the blue blazes (passing a few LERK boxes) and keeping the water on your right until you see a turn marked by a Metacomet Trail sign (almost at the end of the water). Turn left going up a small hill (which is a washout) and then follow the blue along a flat area until a sharp left turn leads you uphill. Keep going up, veering around a large low boulder on the left and keep going up until you reach another large low boulder also on the left. From the far end of this one take a reading of 330/325 degrees and walk 38 steps to a multi trunked trees. The box is in a hole at the base of one of these trees covered with various pieces of logs.
Green and brown ink will give you the original image.
