AN ANIMALISTIC ARBOR

Clue #1
Commence your journey behind the Nature Center. From the wooden bridge head South West up the trail into the woods. You’ll soon reach a fork in the road and a colorful sign.

Clue #2
From the sign head south along the yellow blazed trail, a stone wall will be on your left. You’ll pass a few birdhouses and lots of honeysuckle. Continue on the trail until you reach an intersection.

Clue #3
Take the Succession Trail (orange blazes) to the west and when the trail splits take the one to the North. Eventually you’ll pass some rotting logs, you’re almost there! Keep on the trail until you find a place to sit.

Clue #4
Once you’ve had a rest on the bench continue on the trail up the hill past an old property divider. Find the sign describing an animalistic arbor and walk to this tree.

Clue #5
Stand on the north side of the wolf tree facing down the hill you just walked up. Look for a large rock made of flint and limestone. Nearby are a branch and an unusual looking pile of rocks where you’ll find the letterbox.

Clue #6
Please be sure to hide the letterbox in the same location and out of plain sight. Continue on the Succession trail (orange) until you reach the Perimeter trail (yellow). Follow the signs back to the Nature Center.
