Saxon's Nemisis Mini Letterbox
What is the evil that lurks throughout the land? Seek the letterbox that is Saxon's and discover what secret dog societies throughout the world have been battling against...
Start the trail from the trailhead at Bollinger and Lawrence. Follow the trail over the road with the first bridge. On your right will be a wooden fence seperating the trail from the houses. Where the wooden fence meets the concrete sound barrier along side of Lawrence Exp. you will see a pile of small rocks. Within that pile is the mini litterbox.
About the Box:
Is located behind the backyard fence of a home that sits up against the trail. When re-hiding the box, please don't stick it too far back, or it will be on private property. (5/16/04 - It also looks like a dog may live there and digs under that part of the fence to get out, when rehiding, be sure to keep the box in the wooden fence/concrete wall corner.)
About the Trail:
Dogs are welcome, on leash. Pooper scoopers are provided. It has recently been groomed and is nice, albeit short. The trail is wheel friendly, but the location of the box is not.
Please keep your dog on leash in the groomed area. A lot of the people who use the trail seem to be afraid of dogs (at leat they seem to be fearful of my well-mannered, love-y German Shephard), so please take care.

The easiest way to get to the trailhead is to mapquest.com to the following address: 1800 Chelmsford Dr., Cupertino, CA 95014. This is the address to the community pool. Park anywhere you can there or in the neighbourhood (be sure to observe the "no"-parking signs). To get to the trailhead, walk back to Bollinger Dr., go left and walk to the corner of Lawrence Exp. The groomed trail starts there.
