CLUES:(PLEASE ENJOY THIS LETTERBOX RESPECTFULLY AND DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS.)

TEMPUS FUGIT #7 (Riverside Cemtery, relocated from Pleasant Vale Cemetery, est. 1790)

Take Rt 111N to the end until it intersects with Rt34. Take RT 34 East (right). Follow over the Stevenson Dam. Take a left at the "Welcome to Riverside" planter onto Coppermine Road. Travel past the Riverside Volunteer Fire Company on the right. Cemetery is on the left. (The sexton lives nearby, and takes great pride in and care of the cemetery. Out of respect for his efforts, I have RELOCATED BOTH STAMPS TO ANOTHER SITE DOWN THE ROAD.)

This letterbox has two stamps, each concealed in different locations in the cemetery. The first stamp is contained in a small black plastic pouch and is the TOP of the tombstone. It is a winged hourglass, representing the "tempus fugit" (time flies) image carved into many colonial gravestones. When you have found the Top, STAMP IN. The second stamp which is the TEXT of the tombstone is contained in a box along with a pad. No ink is provided, so bring your own.

TOP: Continue past the cemetery to the next driveway. This will be the parking lot of the Riverside Community Church. Turn around in the parking lot and come back down the road the way you came. Immediately after you have past the Firehouse on your left, there is a gravel turn-around for the school buses. PARK HERE ON YOUR LEFT. Exit your vehicle and start to walk down the road toward the dam, staying on the left side of the road. Just as you leave the turn-around, you will notice large white pine trees along the road. There is only one that is a two-sister pine. At its foot is a smooth, round stone. The stone hides the TOMBSTONE TOP.(PLEASE DON'T STEAL IT!)

TEXT: Behind the two-sister pine, there is a hill. Carefully climb to the top of the hill. Stop and turn around for a nice view of the lake and dam. Continue to follow the edge, walking to your left. You will come to two smooth gray stones. Continue past the stones until you come to a large rotted stump. The TEXT BOX is hidden in the stump, under a flat rock.

Stamp in. PLEASE replace the box, carefully.
