Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 25 yards

The "Sego Man" letterbox is located in Sego Canyon Rock Art site, near I-70 and North of Arches. The panels have good art, but some vandalism. Also just down the road is an old mining ghost town or Sego. The town of Thompson looks like a ghost town also. There are 3 panels of art. The Ute Panel is probably from the 19th century, and contains white men, buffalo, horses and shields. The next one is Frement style, showing a hunter, life size human figures, mountain sheep and other designs. The last is Barrier style, showing smaller figures and about 10 life size human shapes that look like mummies.

Directions:
From I-70 and Green River, go east to exti 187. Exit, then go north through the town of Thompson, then continue of main road for about 3.5 miles. Just past the wash, turn left in to parking are and park near outhouse.

To the Letterbox:
Walk to the display signs and fin dhte one that reads "Ute Rock....". From here, go right, passing the sign in stand, and get on trail just past it. From start of trail, count 9 steps. You should be at a trail jct. Continue straight (right) for another 10 steps. To your right is a line of rocks making the path. There is a big on in the middle, and 2 smaller ones before it. The box is under the 2nd smaller rock (or the middle one between end and big one).
