Late September 2013 ~ After the recent devastating flooding in the area, I do not know the status of this box. I highly doubt that it is still there. I will get into the area as soon as I can to try to find it.

Halloween is my favorite time of year, and it isn't Halloween without my favorite orange gourds. I have been digging and toiling and weeding and fertilizing and watering to have a blue ribbon crop!

I will admit right off that this spot itself is not the prettiest, but it is close to a super cool pumpkin patch, which is what I was looking for! Bring an orange ink pad if you can.

Make your way to Rock Creek Farm in Broomfield. Here's a link for info and directions, http://www.rockcreekfarm.com/. From the entrance to Rock Creek, continue north on 287 to the first light/Dillon Road East. Turn right at the light. Stay to the right at the Y. Look to your right for the above ground gas pipeline. Park in the pullout there - it's just before the pedestrian crossing. See the trail and bridge? Cross the bridge and on its far side, turn to your right and reach under the bridge's corner support. Enjoy your visit to Grouron Jack's.

Happy haunting - I mean, hunting!
