Our Story:
“On September 27, 2009, two Keene State College students started dating. On October 5th he brought her to this gazebo to tell her that he loved her. During their first year together they spent many weekends letterboxing all over the East Coast. They trucked through snow, sweltered in the hot sunshine and collected over 50 stamps in just a short period of time…”

Today on our one year anniversary we decided to hide a letterbox of our own to share with letterboxers from all over. Before you look for the box, spend a minute taking in the scenery of this beautiful downtown. No matter what the season, there’s always something special about it. We hope you enjoy this spot as much as we do!

Clues:
From the Colonial Theater on Main Street in Keene, head toward Center Square. Stop when you get to the intersection with a shoe mural on the side of a brick building. (Parrish Shoe Company was featured in the 1995 film “Jumanji”.) Cross the street ahead and to the right and follow the path around to the steps of the gazebo. Looking up the stairs, count 46 rungs to the right from the first big post. At rung 46, step in behind the bushes and count back 18 rungs to rung #27. Below, hidden in the bushes, you will find your prize. Please be cautious and re-hide carefully as this area is frequently visited.
